Yesterday I shared a couple of tricks that I use to battle my depression.

I had referenced it, but I forgot to show you my new mantel and sofa décor.

I hope all of you know about DecorSteals.com. It is an amazing website that has a little bit of everything from the home decorating world.

Right after Christmas they had a “grab bag” offer. I have seen this offer a couple of times a year, but this year I decided to “grab it”. You pay a certain price and they send you 3-4 random items. Everything is wonderful, so you can’t go wrong. And like they say, if for some reason you don’t like it, you are already on your way to shopping for Christmas next year.

I received 2 pillows. Which I thought was funny, considering I have hundreds of them upstairs. But just like the hair stylist that has someone else cut her hair, it is still exciting to get new pillows that I don’t have to make.

Sadly, these pillows are Christmas themed items, so they will need to be packed away soon. But I thought they could hang out for a while and just be cute.

I was squealingly thrilled when I unwrapped this.

A metal bird wire cloche on a stand! I added that blue ornamental glass balls for a touch of color.

No on ever said you had to put a bird in a bird cage.  🙂
